We just started using OD in January, converted from PracticeWorks.
In PW, there was a "Appointment History" button. It was similar to the "Make/Find Appointment" button in that it listed all past and future appointments that have been/are scheduled. But it also listed the dates any time an appointment was canceled and whether it was with/without notice or a no show, so you could see at a glance what their history was like. You'd still have to put notes in their history (equivalent of Commlog) with the details of when/why they canceled.
I know you can put notes into the Commlog for the details, but is there any other way to get a sense of their overall history other than scrolling through the progress notes, which can be time consuming and entries from the past could be missed. How are other offices handling this?

Broken appointments generate adjustments in the Account. So currently, the best way to get a feel for it is to look in the account. We need to add a feature to properly track broken appointments.

Ah, I see that now. Is it possible to change the color of the text that the broken appointments show up in to distinguish them from all the other items?

Broken appointments are adjustments. Those usually show in blue, but can be changed. You can make adjustments any color you want. It's done from Setup, Definitions.
