Showing photographs / radiographs to patients...

Post by borreliaburg »

Does anyone have an elegant solution for showing patients photographs or radiographs on a separate screen, ideally a tablet (therefore we don't need to mount a second screen)?

Simple. Just get a Windows based tablet and run on it Open Dental, and your imaging software

Open Dental works mainly with Windows operating system.

Yes, but that would potentially allow the patient access to all of Open Dental, no?

Ideally, one would be able to select a series of images to send to the tablet, which the patient can then scroll through, pinch to zoom, etc. Perhaps even mark-up with a pen tool.

OD has security options that allow you to limit what a user can see and use on OD
Maybe use ZOOM and share a screen on a tablet
