Any user of DBSwin (imaging software from Duerr)
Just would like to know if there is anyone using Opendental and DBSwin and successfully link both(Bridge). We are having some problem to link both even after some help/support from the people at Opendental. I am just surprised that the 2 softwares could not be linked and just want to know how you guys did it? What version of DBSwin are you using?

Re: Any user of DBSwin (imaging software from Duerr)
The DBSWin bridge should be working. Our software creates a text file with this format:
PATLASTNAME;PATFIRSTNAME;PATBIRTHDAY;PATCARDNUMBER;PATTOWN;PATSTREET;PATPHONENUMBER;PATTITLE;PATSEX;PATPOSTALCODE;
Everything after the birthday is optional. This should trigger DBSWin to import the text file. So this bridge is easier to troubleshoot than most.
Step 1: See if it's creating a valid output file.
Step 2: Get DBSWin to pick up that file. I wouldn't know the place in DBSWin where you would set that feature up.
The default path seems to be C:\patdata.txt. Is DBSWin set to recognize that path? It looks like we don't launch DBSWin automatically. Is that the problem? Maybe it has to be running first, or maybe it has a listener that has to be running.
