Link Procedure codes with Inventory

I came across a typical requirement and felt worthwhile to share the same.

Is there a plan to link procedure codes with inventory? Like for example, to perform a procedure D1001, you need the following inventory or items. The idea behind this query is to effectively monitor cost related issues procedure wise.
