Downloading problem

Post by dpmanish1 » Tue Oct 14, 2008 9:47 pm

Hello,

This is regarding the download of source code of Opendent. I followed all the instruction of the downlaod page and tried with the latest version and after that with some previous version but I recevied following error message each time.

Error: OPTIONS of 'https://70.90.133.65:23793/svn/opendental/opendental5.9': could not
Error: connect to server (https://70.90.133.65:23793)

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Can you be more specific? This path clearly works:
https://70.90.133.65:23793/svn/opendental/opendental5.9
So you must be trying to connect using Tortoise? I've never seen this problem before.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes you are right, I am using the Tortoise software for download purpose.
Can you please tell me how can I proceed with the download. As per the download page, I followed all the steps.
Do I need to use any other application. Thanks

I don't know. Perhaps your security settings are too high. Try changing the way certificates are handled in IE setup. What you should be seeing instead of that error is a username/password box. It would help if you supplied a screenshot of what that error looks like. You might have to research this on your own, because we have plenty of developers who are using that repository regularly through Tortoise. I use it 10-20 times per day, so I would certainly notice if it went down.
