Edit procedure code

Post by fishdrzig » Wed Nov 19, 2008 6:09 am

In the edit procedure code section, can a time be set to zero so, for example if a code of Periodic exam 15min, child prophy 15min, child flo=zero minutes. This way any child pro visit can be kept to 30min by default?

I am assuming that there is a setup somewhere to make /=zero because I think the program defaults to 10min even with one /

There is an explanation of time calculations on this page:

On the "Time locked" box that can be checked, is it patient specific or not. I mean if I want one patient to have a 60min pro and another 45 min, if I check the box will it stay that way for that particular patient.

Is there anyway to may time = zero for a procedure, or does it always default to 10min?

The time will only be locked for that appointment.

if you set it one / on these procedures it will equal zero time when combining with any other procedure, and then 10/15min if by itself.
