appointment scan

Post by fishdrzig » Mon Dec 08, 2008 9:36 am

Can't seem to get an answer from tech support on this one

I have all my procedure codes marked XXXX depending on how much time I need. I have none marked \. When I go to add a procedure to an appointment, the boxes sometimes get colored in and sometimes do not. This causes a problem when attempting to run the appointment scan because everything that does not have a filled in colored box on the time slide scale gets read as open. So far I haven't been able to run an appointment scan without the staff giving up. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks

The time calculations are explained on this page:
http://www.open-dent.com/manual/aptedit.html

As you can see, it will ALWAYS add a / on the beginning and on the end. That page explains it all. Surely, you are not in the room for the entire appointment?
