Image for implant on chart

Post by fishdrzig » Fri Jan 16, 2009 8:36 am

When a new patient comes in and we are charting them and they have an implant, is there a way to show an implant image on the chart like we can with fillings?

Yes. Pick which procedure code you want to use. Then, change its paint type to implant. It's also nice to change its color override to gray because a gray implant looks nicer than a red or blue one. Then, add that procedure to the patient chart with a status of EO.

I'm using 6.2.14; the Implant gets painted only a little at apex; is this the default behavior? I thought that the whole root should be replaced by implant body not only a fraction which hardly can be observed;

Remove the tooth first.
